Travelling alone

Ladies - I just received tentative dates about my next ED and it looks like 1 - this is the same week that my parents are taking a vacation - so they can't help hubby with DD and 2-hubby can't come with me as he doesn't have more vacation days and nobody to leave DD with. In either case, even if my parents didn't go on vacation, he would not be able to come.

So - looks like I will be travelling alone to Portland unless I find somebody to go with. Most of my friends work full time and don't want to use up their vacation days just to go with me. I think my IF's will be there, but I really want somebody close to me to help me the day of retrieval - bring me food, etc. I didn't feel too bad the first time, but still laid in bed the whole day and hubby was nice enough to wait on me and bring me anything I wanted.

In any case - I am looking for any suggestions on what you have done when you had to travel alone, or any volunteers that are looking for some time away..lol I am sure we can find plenty of fun things to do in Portland. lol
