    Default Surrogacy after Tubal Ligation

Hi, I am interested in becoming a surrogate. However, I had a tubal ligation after I had my second child. Does anyone know if you are still able to be a surrogate after this procedure? I have made a doctor's appointment to find this out but I am a little impatient. Thanks!

    Here is the quick answer.....YES!!

It is most easy to become a GS...using your IP's embryo's, but you can still become a TS via IVF...I think that is how you say it!!

Good Luck:patty: and Welcome to SMO!!

To answer your question, most definitely YES! I've been a GS and had my tubes tied 13 years ago. I gave birth to twins via GS back in 2001. You can also be a TS but you would have to do an egg retrieval from yourself and then an IVF back into your uterus. It depends on what type of surrogate you want to be.

    Good luck!

Ditto, Dawn, me too! It's lovely on the ole s*x life, and makes some IP's feel even better that no "oopsies" will happen...:D

    Good luck to you Fran,

I am another surro who had her tubes tied too. You just end up going the GS route.
