Hi Ladies – my best friends, IF’s are going to be bringing home a little girl in a few weeks and I have been telling them how great BM is for babies. I know their surro will provide some, but they are now looking for some donors on the East Coast – the IF’s live in NY. If any of you ladies are pumping and have milk that you would like to donate, please contact me and I will pass the information on you all ROCK!

    Debbie,

Do you still have milk available? My husband and I just adopted our children's bio sister and I am relactating for her due to her colic, withdrawal, and acid reflux. I am in need of donor milk until mine comes back in. It's been 12 years since I've nursed after a pregnancy, but I was a great producer back in the day. I am willing to do whatever it takes to set up an account for shipping. I live in North Central Indiana.

    Thank You!

I will have breast milk available soon.

Around Dec 9th I will be transitioning the twins from bm to formula as they will be flying departing over seas. I would love to continue to pump for another baby/babies. Please e-mail me if you are interested at zachary92009@gmail.com, I would love to set something up!

Default Help! I need the space in my freezer! LOL

I gave birth to my surrobabe 4-7-12, I was pumping because my IM was going to try to breastfeed and I was going to supplement. But she never did ask for any of my breastmilk and now I have to stop lactating and I have about 1000z of breastmilk that I need to donate asap!! If you any of you ladies are needing BM or know anyone who could use it, and I mean anyone plmk asap. Thank you so much

Ironically, I am an IM who has breast milk to donate. I've been pumping/nursing for 6 months (on the lactation induction protocol) and have yet to use my freezer stash and my upright deep freeze is near capacity. I'd hate to have it go to waste! I would love to help another IP. If not, I will then complete my application for the National Milk Bank donor site. I've put a lot of work into this and would hate to see it go down the drain when it is so precious!

I live in the southwest if that helps.

I have a freezer full of breast milk anyone in need of any please email me. I still breast feed my son but he is getting solids now too and doesnt require much. I tried to donate to a bank but because I take blessed thistle and fenugreek they can't use it for preemies due to unknown effects. Email if interested. Nicscoob22 with yahoo.

I am due with my own baby in April and I hyperlactate. I am hoping to find a semi-long term recipient for my extra 60ish ounces a day. I am in North Carolina and I am familiar with the process of pumping, storing and shipping as I had to recipient families for my excess milk with my son 2.5 yrs ago as well! Would rather get a family lined up now rather than waiting until my freezer is full and I am looking for more room!

You can email me through the board or at
    MadeitupforSMO@yahoo.com

Does anyone know of someone who would accept breast milk pumped while the donor has had mastitis and been on an antibiotic for that? My IPs decided it was too much of a hassle to have me ship breast milk to them across the country so I have been pumping all week to donate to a milk bank. Well, I had to have my OB clinic call in a prescription for an antibiotic on Wednesday because I got symptoms of mastitis and the milk bank I plan to donate to does not accept milk while a donor is on an antibiotic or experiencing a breast infection of any kind. I hate to throw out all of the milk I have pumped between Wednesday and when I stop the meds next Wednesday. I seriously have probably 220+ oz of milk in my freezer right now just from the past 6 days.

Thanks Kim! Will look into them. I just find it weird that if I was breastfeeding a baby(ies), it would be perfectly ok for me to give them my milk while on the antibiotics and suffering from mastitis, yet a milk bank cannot accept it. I guess because of the condition of the preemies and other unhealthy babies who would receive it?

Kim, thanks again for the info on Eats on Feets and Human Milk for Human Babies! I actually found a local family on Eats on Feets' facebook page to donate my "stash" of breast milk to!! They adopted a newborn boy who is about the same age as my surrotwins! So happy someone can use it! I was going to cry if I had to throw it all out. I seriously made the family's day when I called them!

I would be very interested in your BM for my baby born via surrogate in December. Our surrogate could not pump more than 2 ounces a day.

    Cheers,
