Default Egg Donor Classifieds and Ideas for Finding an Unmarried Jewish Donor

While I've helped others in the past, I am currently encountering a unique situation--I'm trying to find an accomplished unmarried and technically Jewish (mother is Jewish) donor.

I know of most of the online classifieds including the one here, but am wondering what other classifieds online might work well and also if anyone has any advice on places to find a Jewish donor either online or out in the real world.

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My IPs found a Jewish donor who had proven fertility through their fertility clinic. Unfortunately now that he is here they've been told that he will have to go through the conversion process because I am not Jewish.

Yes, it is the woman that births the child that needs to be Jewish in order to forgo the conversion process. But, there are many IPs that look for Jewish donors for the genetics.

Hi Chinerd! There are Jewish ED agencies out there. They had no luck with them? Ask Irene (cooliz15), she might have a better idea than I do.

    How are you?

    Thanks Gina!

In Judaism is can be seen as adultry that a baby is created from a married woman with a man other than her husband. If the donor is unmarried then it cannot be seen as an adulturous relationship during which the baby was conceived. I do believe that if the donor is married to a non-Jew then that may be seen as the same (in the Jewish religion) as unmarried.

Depending on interpretation, the surrogate may need to be unmarried as well.
