    Default Hopeful

Hello. I am a hopeful surrogate. I'm waiting for final med screen and to be matched. I'm very new here and was hoping for some advice and encouragement. I got a sneak peek at a couple last week and I just got this full feeling in my heart that this is what I'm supposed to do. Thanks.

Thank you Rebekah. My screening and psych eval is thursday. Any advice? I'm so nervous. I mean everyone is so nice but still it's exciting and nerve wracking

Best advice is to read, read, read and ask lots of questions! Trust your instincts, don't settle, know what it is that's most important to you before you match - make sure you have a good understanding of what is coming up and don't be afraid to reach out for support anytime!!

    Some threads that might help:

HI and welcome to SMO! She gave you some good reading there. Good luck as you continue on... I know what you mean about knowing this is what you are meant to do. Keep it up!

Thanks ladies that really helps! Thanks for taking time to share that with me. I'm currently working with an agency and they even have a few couples for interview. I'm really excited and like I said nervous. However I have been completely honest thus far and won't waiver from that. I'm a bit afraid of the injections but I'm not letting it get to me. I assumed I'll get used to them. Thanks again and I'll post an update. I should have my results back in a couple of weeks.

Yes you get used to the meds. It seems like a lot but it will start to make sense as you go along... Good luck.
