Default Not really PP, but relatet perhaps: period?

I gave birth in December. Bled for 3 weeks, which is long for me. Last week and a halfish there were a lot of old blood, didn't think nothing of it.

Fast forward a few months. I just had my period 12 days ago. Two days ago I had a "wipebleed", meaning one wipe and nothing. Which I have had the two previous cycles also. Could have been an ovulation bleed, had it been that I ovulated then. But my cycle is 30 days and luteal phase 11-ish, so nope. But yesterday there was another wipebleed and today there is more than just a wipe bleed, but no heavy flow. The wipebleed are followed by old blood as well.

The bleeds have become a LOT heavier than usual. I can't even leave the house the two first days, I will soak through a night pad every hour.

I guess I am asking if all this is normal or not? I have never experienced anything like it. I have not done anything that should say that I could bleed.

Could retained placenta tissue be causing such small issues or would it be a lot worse then?

Are you having regular periods? If so, my thoughts would be fibroids. If you are having regular periods it is not likely you have any retained placenta as your period would not resume until your uterus was back to normal. I would definitely go see a doctor and make sure everything was okay.

Yep, I am having regular periods since 6 weeks pp.

Fibroids it could be. I bleed a LOT. I will try to measure my bleed with a moon cup next time, since we're only supposed to bleed 10-80 ml.

    Thanks.

sorry to hijack but my period has not come back full force yet.

i am 14 weeks pp and pumping but my supply is so incredibly low and i have had brown spotting once.

i did my yearly phsyical but not sure if i should go to my ob/gyn and check about retained placenta.

i would have to go to my old ob/gyn i was released from one who delivered me.

what are the signs of retained placenta i google it but i do not have fevers.

Low milk supply can be a sign of retained products although it's unusual to not be bleeding if you have retained POC.

It could be retained POC but it could also just be aging and having had a lot of pregnancies. My cycles get heavier and more sporadic the older I get and the more pregnancies I have.

I know this is super old...but I thoughts I would jump in anyway....After surro babe was born at the end of Dec, I got my first AF roughly a month and a bit after I stopped pp bleeding (which had lasted about 4 weeks). Since then, Im very regular (like clock work...so thats good) but very heavy for the first 2 days...then it peters off substantially, yet I continue to bleed (not even enought for a pad, but a liner will do) for another week (so all in all about 8 or 9 days of bleeding, with just the first 2 being what I would classify as a period). This is new for me, but I too wondered if I had anything going on. I still havent gone for my pp check up...I know, thats terrible. Guess I should schedule that in, I just havent had the time!

Was...you can give me heck if you want lol
