    Default My surrobaby has arrived!!

    Jerzey was born last night at 7:06pm at 38 weeks 3 days and she weighed 9lbs and was 20 1/4 inches long. My BP was not cooperating yesterday so they decided enough was enough. She is in the the special care unit for observation, but overall is doing very well. Luckily she is breathing fine and her only obvious issue is her very pronounced forehead. We are all meeting with some specialists today and she will have an xray to figure out what is wrong. She is beautiful and feisty and we are crossing our fingers that whatever is wrong can be easily treated.

    Congratulations Hope all is well and she blows those specialists away with her perfection.

    Beginning in 2009 after a total of 5 transfers using 8 embryos, 2 m/c and the results are:
    February 14, 2011
    March 16, 2013

    Thanks for all the well wishes. The IMs are in love with their little angel and we are all going home tomorrow!
    We found out that the baby has Craniostenosis which means that her skull bones have fused too early causing a misshapen head. She will have surgery in a few months to repair the issue and then she will look normal and not need any more treatment down the line. It is a great outcome and we all feel blessed that the diagnosis wasn't much worse!
