    Default Tatoos

Soo I'm wanting to get a ratio signifying my surrogacy journey(s)... I thought about an elegant stork or something of the sorts... Do any of y'all have tatoos relating to surrogacy. If so what are they

Are you planning to do this now or later? If you are planning it now then you obviously haven't done your homework about requirements and criteria. In fact, aren't you supposedly experienced and didn't you sign up with an agency? If so then you should know this already and it's usually in the questionnaire. Most clinics have a minimum of 6 months but many a year after getting a tattoo before working with you.

You should wait until you are done, as clinics have certain tattoo restrictions and waiting times for cycling, as Gina mentioned.

There is a "Search" feature on this board which will steer you in the direction of some great tattoos, most include pics.

How do you KNOW that she meant after her journey? Are you friends with her? Talk to her outside of the boards?

I've though about it. I'd love to do something to commemorate my little ones and also my surro-kids. I haven't gotten around to it yet. If you're considering this seriously, you'll need to discuss with your agency what their requirements are. Many places will not accept you until you're 6-12 months post-tattoo/piercing because of the hepatitis risk.

I hope you'll ignore the snark in this thread. This message board does actually have nice people on it.

I haven't gotten one yet, but I have thought about it. I haven't found the perfect one yet. Also I want to be sure I am done with surrogacy- even if temporarily.

I have thought about it but since I'm still active in surrogacy I haven't done anything yet. Searching is a good idea. I'd love to see what others have done. Maybe something dainty with pink for the 2 girls and blue for the 2 boys. I could probably incorporate in my egg donations as well although only one is an open arrangement.

I am definitely getting a tattoo after this surrogacy to represent it as well as complete a tattoo and maybe even go for a half sleeve. I don't know if will do another surrogacy after this but I am perfectly fine with waiting the time that RE's and/or agencies suggest. I think the agency I am with said 18 month wait time, but I could be wrong.

I'm thinking of getting a vagina tatoo, cause all my deliveries have been vaginal. My husband would love it for sure.

I'm far too old for tattoos but once you get one, do share. Would love to see it!

Tell me more about this vagina tattoo....
A tattoo near your vagina? (Because frankly, tattooing in the actual vagina would be super weird and no one would be able to see it).

Or a tattoo OF a vagina? or Vulva?

    Just tell me more!
