Default A great article to read about unnecessary interventions.

I really like this article, very informative IMO... a bit long though, worth it.

An interesting read, but I would have to disagree with the first point a tad. They say that an initial c-section sets the stage for a woman's entire reproductive life. In my case, I had a c-section with my first because I was 10 cm's and pushing before they noticed he was breech. My three other boys were all natural vaginal deliveries with no medications or interventions. Although I am limited to the hospital I can deliver in and OB's I can use, I am still able to choose vaginal birth. This surro-baby is all set to be the same way.

Yes, I think that one varies from area to area, as it doesn't hold true here either, there are plenty of VBACs at the local hospital.

Try living in an Area where there are VBAC bans in all the hospitals and the Midwives are illegal. There is tons of limitations on women seeking VBACs all over the country. I'm very pleased that you have been so blessed in your ability to have a VBAC if you choose.
Not only do c-sections limit how and where you can give birth next time but they also increase your risks in all future pregnancies including ones ability to even become pregnant.

Yeah no vbacs around here either. They say you can have one the whole way through but then section you when you show up. Yes I get that i have to consent but when it's a surrogacy not consenting gets to be very murky ground.
