I've kind of half expected my IM to "magically" finally end up pregnant now that I am. Hasn't happened yet.

Oh wow Lena. I'll be praying for her that the baby girl can stay put as long as possible and minimize any nicu time. What a miracle for her.

Some of your stories make me wonder if stress has something to do with it.. You know how IMs get to the point of desperation where they "give up" on starting their family the natural way and decide to pursue surrogacy. Maybe the weight is not on IM's shoulders as much knowing that there is a much better chance of a viable pregnancy using a surrogate? Hope that makes sense.. I could be way off, but research does show that stress can affect your menstrual cycle and fertility.
I agree with Kristle that some of the article sounds irresponsible but I am extremely happy that the IPs are going to be getting a family! But wow, what a change going from no kids to FOUR in such a close time! How crazy would it be if the kids share a birthday?! Hope they announce the births in the news so we can hear the birth stories.
Lena, that's so exciting about your IM! I hope the pregnancy is viable and she carries that little one to term! When is she due if all goes well?
