    Beta 1: 11dp5dt 249
    Beta 2: 14dp5dt 909

doubling time of 49.25 hours, so pretty good. Bummed it didn't hit 1000 because that means one more beta before an ultrasound.

Glad that it doubled! I've never heard of requiring the beta to hit 1000 before an ultrasound...I'm guessing that's just a clinic-by-clinic thing, though. When's your next beta?

Grateful to Delphi for my fabulous siggy

You typically can't see much before your HCG is over 1000. Actually we wouldn't even bother below 5000 (I'm pretty sure, it may be 3000, though) in our ER.

How in the world did you figure out how long it took for your number to double? LOL!

I too find it interesting that you have to be over 1000, but I am fairly new to this numbers game!?

No one said anything to me about being over 1000, for a U/S either, but I find it interesting!

Thats interesting information! I guess I never heard of that- but again I am fairly new at this numbers thing and have no idea how or what the numbers mean except that they are supposed to double!

I meant I was surprised that they required a beta over 1000 before even planning to schedule an ultrasound.

I just spent the day in San Francisco with my mom, brother, and future SIL. We went to lunch, and then looked at some wedding dresses for her (while my brother wandered Chinatown for a bit). Also stopped at the invitation shop in Chinatown.

I've spent a lot of time in the kitchen, making mini lemon cheesecakes for the Mother's Day Luncheon tomorrow that my uncle is hosting. I also made a lemon curd, and will probably do a raspberry sauce too. Even though all the guys are supposed to be bringing the food, somehow I got stuck with dessert instead of my brother. I like to bake, though, so it isn't too bad.

    Now I'm off to a mani/pedi.

I'm still feeling worrying-ly good. Still throwing up in the morning, but then able to eat almost normally all day. I guess we'll just wait and see.

Tomorrow we're doing a family cook-out at my parents'. My Grandma is down, and my aunt and uncle are coming over. Unfortunately my boyfriend won't be here because his damn cat is sick (I have never liked this cat. I feel bad for hoping this is the end for her, but honestly I kinda do...). But it should be nice anyway and I'm looking forward to seeing my extended family!
