Default Any Intended Moms/Parents in the NYC area?

Would love to connect if so. I was thinking that since most pregnant women get to meet friends and get support via their prenatal classes, etc....well, for those of us not giving birth ourselves, I thought it might be nice to have some local support. If there are any more of you out there, it would be great to connect.

Nice to "meet" someone else from the NYC area, although it doesn't appear that I have "sufficient privileges to send a private message" on here. Perhaps you could send me a regular email at abrooklynfamily [at] gmail [dot] com. I'd love to connect. :-)

    Greetings from NYC

Would be happy to meet up. I have a beautiful baby girl- well now early toddlerhood and would be love to meet up.

It can be a little isolating being pregnant but not physically pregnant so I understand.

    Will send you an email.

my FIF's are from the NYC area, they don't go on the message boards, but if you do have a get together, I hope you don't mind if I invite them they are awesome daddies and their little girl is already 6 mos!

    Hi Everyone,
I live in NYC as well, I hope I'm not too late for the replies!
I was an IM here for 3 years, I did 2 surrogacy journeys with my LOVELY surro whom I adore and we now have 3 kids.
A boy turning 5 tomorrow and a set of twins (boy/girl) who turned 3 last Monday.
I would love to meet other IM's since I don't know anyone.

Here is my contact info and best of luck to all of you still in the journey!

Default Another hopeful IM in the Tri-State Area

Hey there, hope I'm not too late to join the club! I'm a hopefully future IM, going the independent route so I'd really, really like to talk to other New Yorkers (I'm splitting my time between Manhattan where I live and Long Island where I grew up - longish story) on all things GS. I'm trying to figure out if I can work with a GS who resides in NY but would be willing to give birth in PA due to the laws which I'm sure you all are well aware of.

Anyone working with New Hope? THey look amazing however their website says their surrogate transfers are done with frozen embryos and well, I'd much prefer fresh. Other than that they seem quite cutting edge (I know they'll cost a fortune but this already costs a fortune). I like their "one good egg" policy a lot.

Yes I am and I LOVE LOVE them... Very personal touch, great staff and I love that I can do all my testing and blood work in house. They're also connected to an agency so if you are going the independent route (like us) you can utilize their attorney and psychologist.
