Default Anyone Work with Washington University Center in St. Louis?

I noticed on the feedback thread there are no reviews for any clinics in Missouri. Has anyone worked with Washington University Infertility and Reproduction Center in St. Louis? Good/bad experiences with them? If you don't want to post publicly, you can email me at surro tammy @ hotmail.

Or, has anyone worked with anyone else in the St. Louis area?

    Thank you!

I've worked with Dr. Silber and I know there's at least one or two that have used the SHER institue.

I worked with Dr. Sher for my last transfer. Since I had just delivered a surrobaby in 01/10 and I was matching with this new couple in the summer of 2010, all he required was a my medical records and an in person visit from me. I didn't have to see a psych. I only had the very basic prep work all done on my visit that day. He does all his transfers as an outpatient procedure at the adjacent hospital. My main ultrasound was done at the hospital radiology also.

I did all my monitoring at my locol clinic here in Cincinnati.

It was one of my easiest transfers. The bad side, my IM produced very very bad quality eggs so it was a negative transfer. My IM and I were actually a little pieved at the doctor because the eggs were almost so bad we had wished he had just cancelled the cycle instead of proceeding with the transfer. It would have saved my IPs a ton of money.

It was ironic though. All the stim meds sort of kick started my IM's cycles. She ended up pregnant the next month and delivered her own baby girl 9 months later.

As for me, I found out 6 weeks after the transfer that I had an congental back problem that required surgery so my surrogacy days were instantly over.

In the end, it all worked out.

We did like Dr. Silber's office and staff. We didn't have any problems with him.
