Thanks. It's been a crazy few months of BS that started blowing up in my face right around Christmas. Some of it has just taken a while to play out. The pregnant hormonal me hasn't been the best at dealing with it either.

Same here, its awful. Between not being able to get comfy with my body pillow and then having to get up to pee I am so tired. I can't wait to go back to sleeping on my stomach.

Thanks. It's been a crazy few months of BS that started blowing up in my face right around Christmas. Some of it has just taken a while to play out. The pregnant hormonal me hasn't been the best at dealing with it either.

Hormones make everything 10x worse for me. I swear, I have little break downs over the stupidest crap. Last year was a rough year for me, I felt insane until the holiday times. It was probably made worse by the 3 cycles we did to achieve this pregnancy. I wasn't nice to be around at all.

Next appts...May 16 w/the OB. May 30 regular prenatal appt, June 6 reg. prenatal appt.

I have a body pillow that stays mostly at my back and a pregnancy pillow (double 'U' shaped) that is doubled over that goes between my knees. I'll get nice and comfy...then my right hip starts killing me. Flip to the left, get comfy and then the left hip starts hurting. Go back to the right side and now I have to pee. Climb over the pg pillows (feels like climbing Mt. Everest) to go to the bathroom, roll over the pillows to get back into bed and starts all over again.

Well... something interesting happened tonight. LOL

A little back story: My 4 (almost 5) year old DD has been to a couple of my OB appts with me... and I usually take her in the bathroom with me when I have to pee in a cup. It never dawned on me to explain why I was doing this, I'm just always in a hurry to get out because she usually has to go too so I feel like we're in there forever.

So... tonight, I walk into the bathroom and find her trying to pee in a cup. I was dumbfounded and just stood there, and she didn't see me at first, but when she finally realized I was there she dropped the cup and immediately put her head in her hands in embarrassment. At first I was like "What the heck are you doing??" but then I quickly changed my tone, because I didn't want her to feel even more embarrassed. I want her to be able to feel comfortable around me and not like she was doing something "wrong" per say... so that hopefully can set a good path for the future when other uncomfortable things come up.

Anyway, I just thought I would share... I kinda thought it was cute she was trying to be like Mommy.

Too funny. Kids crack me up. My cousin's little girl was about 3 when she was pregnant with #2. She had m/s most of the pregnancy. Sometimes when she was hanging her head over the toilet her little girl would come in to the bathroom and pretend to puke in the training potty.

I need advice- i have been up since 5am with a terrible migraine and its getting worse. No idea what caused this. I had my glucose test yesterday as well as my first steroid shot. Today I had the second steroid shot. Anyone else ever get an insane migraine from the shots? I've never had the injections before but my dr does them as a preventive in case of early labor with multiples. I've tried Tylenol, laying down, cool cloth, nothing is helping. Any suggestions?

I can never tell how they are laying. I feel most of the movement on my right side, but I have no idea how to tell where she's laying.

I would get someone to check your BP if you can. IDK about the shots but steroids in general can give some people a headache. If the glucose test made you feel crappy it could have contributed too. It could be a combo of factors making it hard on you.

Steroids are major uppers - like mega caffeine. I imagine an injection is quite a dose!

I have a question......we just got the bill from last month from when I went in the hospital for chest pains. After insurance kicked in the bill ended up being $2300 due to the fact they did a few extra tests since I was pregnant before ultimately having me do the ct scan. I probably wouldn't have gone to the ER had I not been preggo and would have waited it out till the drs office opened but being preggo, especially with someone elses I didnt want to take any chances. Anyhow, my question is this, am I responsible for this bill or due I submit it for surrogacy??

We had our u/s today and everything looks great!! I just love the 4D u/s..never had them with my own kids!! At 26 wks exactly she is measuring 27 wks, and weighs about 2#5oz. My placenta is no longer considered "low lying"....everything looks great. We went for a tour of the hosptial where she will be delivered...it's hard to believe that in just a few months we will be going there for her arrival. I can not wait for that day
