Can any experienced surros give an about to go crazy IM some help? We did a FET last week and 5dp5dt my surro (I guess I should say GC...) tested and there was a definite line, no squinting needed, just not as dark as the control. It was so exciting for me because I've done 5 transfers and never a +hpt, even with the chemical always stark white. She tested the next two days and same line, not getting darker like the control, all using FRER's. Now I'm worried about having another chemical since it's not getting darker just staying the same. We get to test tomorrow but that means another 27 hours before we get a number so I have more time to drive myself crazy. So, how many dpt before it's dark like control? Is my concern justified?
And I do realize that I will have entire weekend to drive myself even crazier waiting for 2nd beta, but one crazy at a time.
If the line is staying the same shade that is great news! I would only start to worry if the line is getting lighter. Take a deep breath and enjoy the moment. Like you said you've never been this far before so I'm thrilled for you. If your still concerned put them side by side take a picture and post it, I'm sure they look great!
Personally I have found the newer First Response tests to not reiliably get darker over time in quite the same way as other tests do. I wouldn't worry about it at this point! Congrats on the positive.
