We transferred one beautiful boy embryo and one gorgeous girl embryo today. The RE said everything went perfectly, and we should also have 12+ embryos to freeze.

Sticky Vibes to everyone for sure. I hope to see lots of BFP in 2 weeks. As for me I started the estrace on the 6th after my labs and ultrasound looked great... according to the nurse. I also backed down my lupron to 5 from 10units. I can tell the difference already. I don't feel the need to punch the walls but all I want to do is eat from the estrace. I am resisting the urge, since I have lost 4 lbs in the last week from all the running I have done on the treadmill to keep from exploding on my family I should go in around the 13th for my next ultrasound and I will bump up my estrace on Tuesday too. Well off to check on dinner. Happy Easter everyone, Lets hope we all find lots of sticky eggs for our journey's.

Hi ladies! I've posted a few times but I don't see them showing up so we'll see if it goes through this time! I started my period Friday so I did my first delestrogen injection yesterday and our transfer date is going to be the 25th! Really excited!

Is it April 17th yet? (And no, I'm not talking about the date that income tax returns are due this year ) Our GS has an appointment to check her hormone levels on 4/12, 1st Beta will be drawn on 4/17.

Funny story from yesterday: I was in the prep room, getting a hairnet, gown, and booties to put over my clothes. The nurse comes in, and asks if I understand my "post-transfer instructions". I must have gotten a really confused look on my face, because she looked concerned, and said that she'd remind the doctor to tell me. I told her that I didn't need them, although my surrogate might. She said, "Wait, we aren't transferring to you? If you aren't having a transfer, what are you doing here?" I explained that I was the intended mother, and that I wanted to be there for the embryo transfer to my surrogate. Needless to say, she was pretty embarrassed and left as soon as she could. Even though I found it funny (as did my GS and her husband when I told them), I was still glad that she wasn't the nurse present for the transfer. Not sure what I would have done if she had told me to get undressed...

Welcome Shari! We are hoping to transfer right around the same time. Hopefully we will all be lucky and have babies coming soon.

Trisha: You obviously don't have to answer this if it makes you uncomfortable, but how was the actual transfer day for you as the IM? I ask because I am rather a wreck at the moment. The stress is really, really bad and I am worried it is only going to get worse before it (hopefully) gets better. I have a high-stress job and I thought I was pretty good at managing it, but wham! It seems stupid to be this key'd up now that things are finally falling into place (after waiting so long), but my guts are in knots, my face looks like a pepperoni pizza, and I am awake at night staring at the ceiling. I am also super-excited, happy, and everything, but SO worried and afraid to let myself get too happy... Is it just a relief to be finally done with the transfer and happy to be pupo, or was it rather sad too because it happens outside of you? Have you figured out a way to combat the stress?

I have no doubt that when we get a child it will all be worth it and Beth is a truly lovely person with a very loving heart, I am just trying to figure out how many kleenex boxes and tubes of clearasil I should be stocking up on for the next couple of weeks.

Transfer is done...of the 6 fresh retrieved only 2 were viable. One looked pretty good and the other had some fragmentation...but the RE wanted to transfer both anyways. The RE seemed really positive though...so we all have our fingers crossed!! Now begins the torcher of waiting.....
