    Default Easter Baskets

What are going in your kid's baskets this year? I need suggestions? So far I have candy, a few coupons for apps, and new rain boots. Any other suggestions? My kids are 3, 5 & 6.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

DS(4) is getting Alvin & the Chipmunks Chipwrecked, some putty, a 4 pack combo of playing cards (old maid, war, crazy 8's and one other), a few eggs that will have change for him to put in his piggy bank, sunscreen, water shoes, sunglasses and either educational flashcards or a workbook.

If his swimsuits from last year didn't fit still, I'd put a new suit in there. I've done garden tools, before.

Then there are the standard sidewalk chalk, bubbles.

this year we went a little different. Leah is getting an 'American Girl' type doll and beauty parlor chair with all of the stuff to keep her doll beautiful. We went to AG and she was dying to have one but we wanted to make sure she would care for the doll before we dropped $115 on one!

Since we got Leah 2 big gifts, we did the same with Weston. He got a Little People Wheelies playset and I got a KILLER deal on it! It was originally $42 at target and I got it for $16. We also got him a spill proof bubble bucket so we can play on the deck with bubbles

We are going to my godparents where they have an egg hunt filled with a ton of candy and a treasure hunt that ends with 'easter cash' so I think the baskets are unnecessary this year for our family. I think we still have candy left over from last year!

I didn't want to do much chocolate this year, but did get 1 solid chocolate bunny, some little chocolate suckers that were wrapped in Littlest Pet shop, and 1 giant Kinder egg that had a stuffed sheep in it. Plus I know both sets of grandparents and Nana picked up chocolate as well.

I did get a package of plastic disney princess eggs that had fruit candies and some were empty to put our own things in.

I got 2 shirts to stuff in the bottom of the basket, a disney princess bubble wand, a monster high doll with accessories, a littlest petshop set, my little pony, zoobles set, disney princess dry erase board, a movie, a cinderella polly pocket set. I have a few more things, I've been picking things up as I found them on sale/clearance since January.

    A few ideas could be:
    Rubber Boots
    Spring Coats
    Stuffed animal
    Bubbles
    Bubble Bath
    Hot Wheel cars
    Hair accessories
    Movies
Outside summer toys like soccer ball, basketball, baseball & glove
Maybe a board game for the whole family
    Markers/Crayons
    Crayola Wonders set
    Sidewalk Chalk
    Craft Supplies
    Shauna

We just got an Ollie's here, it's a discount store. We found books for them and 3D chalk for outside. A place here makes home made candy so they got that too. My kids still really like bubbles and we try to find an outside toy for them for the summer.

The only thing I have is candy, DD is getting new shoes and DS is getting the movie HOP. My brother 16yo and sister 21yo will also be here so I'm making them baskets to. Easter is my brother's favorite holiday.

I put together my 8yo DS's basket tonight - a ton of candy, a Kindle Fire, a cover for the Kindle Fire, and the new kinect star wars game will go in it when it gets here.
