I love the title. Sounds like something I would have come up with. Watch out I might be contagious. You could have a really interesting group name if you ditch the poll and just drop the word potential.

You are so funny! Love the pre-May name

I'm not even 100% that I'm going to b in May yet bc I haven't had my medical screening yet to get my calendar. I'm just guessing! I'm really excited to get started in this journey.

    Haha yes....

AFM- things were just put on hold for the next 1-2wks while we wait to find out if DH is getting a job offer in another state, then we will finalize the contract accordingly (worst case scenario our match ends but we are hoping we can work out the details so everyone is comfortable moving forward) then we will have one day at the clinic for all 4 us to get our bloodwork, base tests done, and my psych eval etc.... and hopefully get our tentative date for May!

Cara - keeping my fingers crossed for your hubby

AFM: I had my trial transfer and ultrasound yesterday which all went fabulous. Then on to taking dates with the nurse coordinator ... all we have left is to finish contracts, insurance and I need my OB form signed off on and have my appointment scheduled for the 22nd. I am incredibly blessed to be doing another journey.

Yay we have people in this group with a sense of humor.

I am currently waiting for my IP's to pick an attorney. The good news is that there shouldn't be any issues once contracts are drawn up because we agreed on everything so hopefully it will be a quick process. I should start taking BCP at the beginning of April. I have been cleared on everything else already because I had a transfer on Dec 22 and a negative Beta on Jan 3 with a different IM.

So now onto a new journey with 2 FANTASTIC IP's. Super excited to hear about everyone's journeys.

Hi all! I *might* be transferring in May. It's still very tentative right now. I'm sure most of you know what happened to us last December when we had to terminate due to a severe heart defect that made the baby incompatible with life. I had lots of complications afterwards, but I'm hopeful things are fine and I can carry again. I had to have 2 D&C's (amongst other things!) so there's a possibility I have scarring from the procedures. My uterus took a beating! My OB did some things that lessen the chances of adhesions, so we're hoping it worked. I've been on BCPs a month now and just started my first AF yesterday and things are going well. The biggest marker for adhesions is amenorrhea so a regular AF is a good sign. The RE wants me to have one more BCP cycle, then I'll go in for a saline sono or hysteroscopy to see how things look. If things are good, then we can transfer with the next cycle.

We have 3 frozen embies remaining from our fresh cycle last July. I want to say that they're excellent quality, but I can't remember for sure. So, we'll see how things pan out. May would be the earliest we could try again, and it all depends on what the RE thinks as well as if I'm ready to go again. I'm still kind of undecided if I want to do this again so soon after all the drama...it was a lot to go through. I go back and forth one day saying, "no I want to wait a couple more months", to the next day saying, "I can't wait to jump back in there and not be defeated." I'm just going to see what happens at the eval in April and go from there. In the meantime, I'll be stalking the May group!

So my IF's and I are hoping that if we do another fresh transfer like we did in 2009 to get pregnant the first time with baby Louie that hopefully we will have the same luck for his sibling

I'm hoping to be part of the May group!
I still don't really know though because I haven't even had my screening yet, still waiting for the clinic to call me to get it scheduled. It will be a fresh transfer so everything is still unknown to me.

Awesome ... how wonderful that you are close enough to spend time together

I had a long call with my IM this afternoon ... we are not close in locality but I will get to meet them sometime in April so I am very excited about that.

Kelli ... I am glad to hear that you are ready to transfer again ~ wishing you all a smooth journey from here on out.

....and to who-ever fixed the thread title .. THANK YOU

    Ok girls,
It was very clear that the monkey theme was going to win the name for May. With that being said, I went ahead and started another poll for the May monkey names. Please vote on a name. The poll will only be open for 4 days.

If anyone knows how to close the original May names poll, go for it. When I made the poll, I put it up for 2 weeks bc I wasn't sure but 2 weeks is way too long. Now I don't know how to close it

    Hi Everyone,

I think I'm going to be part of May. I'm not 100% sure yet, but it will likely be May or June.

I'm waiting on IM's RE to finish reviewing my medical records and for my doctor's office to call me back with my blood results that were requested by the clinic. Then I'll do any screening the RE wants done and then contracts. IM has 3 frozen emryos waiting for a home.
