I'm jealous! Lol.
And yeah, I've been swollen there for weeks! Totally hate it!
I'll be 35 weeks this week and I can't wait to be 38!! ;)

They are both "ok" so far...
Baby is in nicu for breathing and kari on meds for bleeding, but was able to send pics and emails. So some prayers for both wouldnt be too bad.
The only really cool part of this early birth is that baby and i share the same birthday date

How wonderful!! I thought you might have been hinting at her arriving earlier!! Glad to hear she is safe and sound! Hoping you have an uneventful trip getting out to see that precious daughter of yours! Congrats Mommy! My 2nd surrobabe was born on her mom's birthday. It certainly is a great birthday present! Nordwind, you should post pics when you get a chance to catch your breath!

One more thing, not to bump the line... But I wanna be next! LOL! I actually had a dream about holding this girl and what she looked like, and her daddies beside me. It was beautiful. I'm curious to see if she looks anything like my dream!

Amy, I'll gladly let you. I am anxious to see how my appt goes today. I am still contracting off and on and pretty sure I lost part of my plug... I've never had that happen before so not sure? This kid just needs to wait two more weeks!!

The race to the finish seems to be on lol. Prayin all the babes under 37 weeks bake a little longer . As ready as I am , I don't want this kiddo comin just yet.

Congrats! I'm praying for super quick recoveries for baby and surro.

We have an induction date set for May 21st. So, exactly 3 weeks! My IPs are going to get their own room at the hospital too, which I think will be nice since they're bringing their whole crew. I think it'll be IM's parents, IF's dad, and at least 2 of their friends! I think it's great that they have so much support and people who want to make the 6 hour drive to be there, but am grateful that they'll have their own room and I won't have everyone in my room, lol.

I've been feeling pretty good; just tired and swollen as well, lol.

Joni, my ticker is until induction day, at 38w3d. I am 36w tomorrow. I am still contracting and lots of pressure from his head. But nst was prefect and they said they'd see me Thursday, but *if* labor starts to head in. I am just resting and hope he waits for his dads. I am looking at the positive, hoping this means induction will go easy and well.

And move onto to the next chapter in my life. Country livin .

Ok...had my 3D/4D today...please give comments/advice because I have no experience with these...
the lady said the baby is measuring 7lbs 7oz and is measuring 37-38 weeks. I am only 34w2d...the OB gave an induction date of June 6 a couple weeks ago. If I go that long, based on this, the baby will be like 10lbs.
How accurate are the 3D/4D? I am not sure I can vaginally deliver a baby that big. I don't know what to think

Miranda, try not to stress too much about it. With my first surrogacy, they told me the baby was about 11 pounds at 38 weeks. Her head wouldn't even fit on the screen to get a good measurement. She was delivered 2 days later via c-section weighing 9lbs 11 oz. It was still big, but not nearly as bad as they made it seem! There's a few things that can skew the measurements. It's actually pretty common for the u/s to be off by a pound or even more.

Miranda, did you have it at a diagnostic place?? Also at this late in the game the ultrasound can be off a pound or more. I'm sure if your doctor is worried he'll check. I know they are guessing this one big too.... Just keep faith it'll be ok!
