    Default Hippie Cookies

So there is a coffee shop right around the corner from my work that sells a very satisfying cookie with a bunch of yummy ingredients. I'm determined to master it. All the good outweights the butter and sugar, right? These are SO filling! Here's what I'm starting with...

    1 cup butter
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cups white sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 eggs
    2T Canola oil
    1 c whole wheat flour
    1 c white flour
1 tsp each baking powder and soda
    1 cup oatmeal
    1 cup Rice Krispies
    1 cup crasins
    1 cup chocolate chips
    3/4 cup sunflower seeds
    1/3 cup wheat germ
    1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts

In large bowl mix / beat butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs
Add flours, baking powder and balng soda in another bowl and blend well.
add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Give a little stir
Add all remaining ingredients making sure it is nice and bended
Roll into balls, flatten with a fork and bake 8-10 minutes.

    oven 350 degrees

These sound good. I wonder what you could replace for the Canola oil?

You could use coconut oil instead of butter and canola oil - that would be better for you. Those definitely sound yummy, healthful or not!

Thank you Natasha (EmmaLexiMomma) for my siggy!
