A little background information: i am 28 years old with a pregnancy history of 2 pregnancies and 2 live births both at 38 1/2 weeks (my two children). I am very healthy with no health issues, on no medications at all, and never had any complications during pregnancy (got pregnant without trying both times...)

I have been matched with a beautiful set of ip's. We are at the stage now of injections and preparing my uterus for transfer. I have done two medicated cycles with del estrogen IM with (vaginal estrogen the second cycle) and both have failed to increase my uterine lining past 5.2. My lining has to be at an 8 for transfer. The nurse at the clinic told me that i would not be able to be a gestational carrier because in 2 cycles (same med protocol both times) my lining did not thicken sufficiently. I mentioned to her what I had found in my research about using viagra vaginally and accupunture to thicken the lining, or trying a natural cycle to see if my body does it on its own. She processded to tell me "because I am a compensated carrier and not a family member or a friend just doing this out of the kindness of my heart, they won't try any other methods" this was after she agreed that the other methods have been tried and it is something they have done at their clinic.

Is this a fair statement by the nurse at the clinic? Do you think it is still possible to thicken my uterine lining with other protocols or a natural cycle, or should I just throw in the towel on this journey? Thanks for your insight!
