    11. Is surrogacy legal in the UK because i don't seem to be able to find anyone in England? - Ally in England - Top

Surrogacy is legal in the UK, but I believe there are compensation restrictions on surrogates there. There is an organization called COTS (Childlessness overcome through surrogacy) that is based in England. Their website has moved so I am unable to give your their internet address. I have also "met" (online) both parents thru surrogacy and surrogates that live in
    England.

(Editor's Note: The new website address for COTS is http://www.surrogacy.org.uk/index.htm. - Updated: January 31, 2000
