    19. I am doing a research paper for English and I need to Know what laws have been passed and also how many surrogate mothers are there in the U.S. available. -Tishina Brown - Top

    Dear Tishina,

The OPTS website (www.opts.com) has a legislative watch by state section which would be helpful. There is no way of knowing how many surrogate mothers there are available in the U.S. since there is no national regulation of surrogacy and there are many different agencies with new ones popping up every day and many arrangements are done independently (without the help of an agency).

    Hope this helps,
