    6. My question is would you know of any indepents or should I say where can I look for a listing in NY where I can donate. Do you know of any places in either New York or New Jersey? I am in the process of becoming a donor, but I have one question.. Is there or will there be a chance of me getting cancer. I think this is the greatest gift a woman can give to another. I was blessed with two beautiful daughters ages 4 yeard old and 4 months old. I also had another question is it too early for to go through the procedure I just had my 2nd daughter 1/99 also I'm not breastfeeding but I am on the depo-provera shot. Will any of this will stop me from going forward with the donating procedure. Thanks for answering. - Anonymous in NY

    7. Hi. I'm considering being an egg donor for a couple unable to have a child. I'm young and quite healthy and I seem to fit their qualifications. My question is: I'm certain I'm very healthy and have no diseases, but what if I discover down the road (a year or two) that I have a certain disease and may have passed it on to the child through my eggs? What's the likelyhood of that happening and can I be held legally and/or financially responsible for the child's health or medical bills? Also, I'm wondering about compensation. I've seen ads offering egg donors anywhere from 2 to 6 thousand dollars. What's an appropriate reimbursement? - Elizabeth

    8. I have decided to become an egg doner and have my first appointment on February 8 to discuss the procedure and do the paperwork. I am a bit nervous about the whole thing as I have never done this before. I have two healthy children and could not imagine my life without them, which is why I chose to do this. I am currently taking birth control pills and am wondering how this will affect this procedure. When will they take me off the pill and for how long? Will they wait until the week of my cycle or will they interupt my pills in the middle of the month? Thank you for your help. - Asha in FL

    9. I am considering donating my eggs, but am concerned with how it will affect my love life. Will me and my boyfriend have to stop having sex for a certain amount of time? - Anonymous in CA

What process would i have to go through to have my eggs retrieved now that I have no uterus for them to go through? - Andrea in IN

    16. I am a very health-conscious individual and do not take birth control medications of any kind mainly for the reason that I believe your own body should be producing the right amounts of hormones, etc., and that taking birth control pills, for example, somehow upsets your body's normal balance and is unhealthy.
