Dear Anonymous,

Most Egg Donation programs have their own cut off points for what they consider too overweight for their program. The reason is that the more body fat you have, the less effective the medications are, and the eggs are harder to retrieve. It really depends on the clinic, and also if they are able to match someone overweight. Picking someone overweight may cost the couple twice as much money on the medications.

I will hazard a guess and say that 20 pounds overweight would probably not be a problem.
