    6. I was wondering if haveing my tubes tied would effect the possibility of becoming a surrogate for a family member? Do I need to reverse the procedure? - Anonymous in AZ - Top

You can be a surrogate with your tubes tied if you do gestational surrogacy. That is where you carry their egg and sperm, and you are not biological related to the baby.

If you plan on doing a traditional surrogacy where you donate the egg then yes you will have to have your tubes untied, and this procedure is generally unsuccessful.

    Good Luck,
