    6. Have you ever known of anyone who had an extremely hard time letting go of a baby via GS? Is the risk of one or more babies only involved with TS or is it just as great with GS? - Rachelle in FL - Top

    Rachelle,

I have never known anyone who had a hard time letting go of a GS baby. The risk of multiples is higher with gestational surrogacy since you are usually putting back 2-4 embryos, than it is with traditional surrogacy where the risk of multiples is the same as with any other "unassisted" pregnancy unless you are using fertility drugs such as Clomid to increase the odds of success.

    Thanks for writing....

I personally have not came across anyone that had a hard time giving back the baby after its birth.

As for multiples? It's more likely with Gs because the Dr. normally puts back in more than one embryo into the surrogates uterus. And
With Traditional it would be more than likely be only singleton baby ... unless the surrogate drops more than one eggs and they both are fertilized ... most likely that won't happen.
    I hope this helps thanks....
