No, I do not know of any surrogate that has used natural means. The reason behind this is that the natural means, if I understand you to mean intercourse, is a very personal and intimate experience to be shared with someone you love, not with someone you are friends with. In addition most of the surrogates are married not to mention the intended mothers married to the intended fathers. That would be quite an emotional disaster. I doubt if any state would look on such a procedure as a surrogacy. I can not tell you anything about VA medical benifits. I can tell you that if you are considering the natural means to reduce cost you could try the method that we used which was home insemination. With home insemination the intended father provides the semen and the SM inseminates herself with a sterile, needle-less syringe. It worked for us the 2nd month we tried. In our case, there was no selective DNA/Geneolgy considered, nor am I aware of it occuring in any other cases. I hope this answers your questions.
