    15. Will my husband and I be responsible for my sister's (our GS's) medical leave/stay? - Len - Top

    Dear Len,

Yes, you would be liable for her expenses that accrue through out her pregnancy with your child. Be sure to inquire medical insurance for her so that will help out on costs when she goes to her Obgyn and the birth of the baby. A lot of insurances have a clause in their guide lines that they will not pay for surrogacy so be aware with that one. Blue shield and Kiaser are the two in California that i know of that still take surrogate moms.

    Good Luck to you!
