    38. How long did it take you before you found the right person? - Erica - Top

    Erica,

We have been talking about surrogacy seriously for about 5 years now. At first we were not looking for a surrogate because we were going to do GS and my sister in law was going to carry the baby. It wasn't until about a year ago that we decided to go ahead with the AI and look for a surrogate. I began to search in earnest around November of last year and had lots of offers but no one close to us which was very important to us. In March, after an unfortunate incident with one SM we were ready to stop and rethink things over when our current SM found us. So, I can honestly say that we were very lucky to find our perfect angel in about 3 months. It differs for everyone. You just have to find the one that is right for you.
